High Quality Recording of Blu-ray DVD Media Disk
With the appearance of High Definition TV and HD recording, prospect of optical storage is changing. Blue ray technology is the response to high definition formats. The Blu ray media is next invention technology used for storing HD video. The name is ‘Blu ray’ because blue ray is used to read and write on the disc. HD DVD remains Blue ray technology’s major opponent; however, Blu ray has a better capacity and stores up to 50 GB on disc.
Blu ray media is ideal for supporting high class HD video; up to 1920 x 1080 dpi. When played back on the player, it gives intelligent images, surround sound, vibrant colors and superb movies experience. Blu Ray disc can store additional data than CD or DVD. The reason is DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R use red laser ray for reading and writing data.
Up till then BD-R and BD-RE drives up to 6x are sell in the marketplace by companies like Verbatim, and TDK. Taiyo Yuden, the well-known Japanese DVD media manufacturer, recently entered blu ray by launching BD-R LTH (low to high) media. It will carry recording at 2X. It is a write once format and disc features an organic dye recording layer while further discs have inorganic dye recording layer.
